What are some facts about whitening strips?

• Strips only cover you front 6 teeth.
• Strips only work on perfectly straight teeth
• Strips have trouble staying in place and come off easily.
• You'll need to do a touch up every six months. (this can become expensive over the long term)

What are some facts about paint-on whitening products?

• They contain a very low level of hydrogen peroxide (less the 1%) so they are too weak to be effective.
• They are only active on the tooth for 2-3 minutes before you saliva washes it away.
• They contain phosphoric acid (which corrosive)

What are some facts on whitening toothpastes?

• They are expensive over long term.
• They are abrasive over tooth enamel (some brands more than others)
• They are fine for removing light surface stains, but do little to actually whiten your teeth.
